INSPIRATION
This season's collection features some softer fabrics such as silk taffeta and silk "Gros". As always, the extravagant, embellished ball gown remains a signature of the Platinum collection, and this season I was inspired to design a number of narrower shapes. I have also introduced some jewel-trimmed gowns perfect for the bride who strives to wear Platinum but may have a smaller budget.

TRENDS
Short and sexy dresses are the newest trend, as well as fit-to-flare skirt shapes. I address trends but they are re-interpreted into the Platinum look, for the bride who wants the ultimate in glamour and a sophisticated, flattering cut. Construction and fabric are also key design components, regardless of the trend. Our gowns are fashioned with the highest level of detail and made of pure silk in the Boston area.

TIPS
My best advice is to let every prospective bride know that she doesn't need to bring an entourage when shopping for a gown! The more people involved in the decision, the more likely the bride will be faced with confusion and doubt - the fewer opinions the better. After all it's your day, not your friends', bridesmaids' or mother's! Enjoy the experience...
